Avinash has close to two decades of rich experience in the areas of Global Cross Border Collaboration, Software Product Development, Offshore Outsourcing and Professional Services.

He has over the years developed and honed skills in General Management, Sales Leadership, Change Management and Leadership, Negotiation, Branding and Marketing, Human Relations and People Management as well as managing complex and Global P&Ls.

He has a deep understanding of Viral Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Mobile Applications, Semantic Web Frameworks and its application to socio-behavior patterns of various customer demographics. Avinash also runs Excel Ventures, an early stage Incubation fund which invests in the Technology, Healthcare and Education segment primarily in the Indian market.

Prior to this, Avinash was a founding member of Birlasoft and was responsible for the initial setup of the company, which included establishing the infrastructure, building the team and setting up the required systems and processes for global operations. As Chief Operating Officer, Avinash was responsible for global operations across the USA, Europe, APAC, Japan and Middle East markets. He grew this company to USD 175 Million, 4500 person company prior to leaving it in early 2008 to start his own venture.
